about

My first solo album. One can hear lots of carry over from my solo and trio Celtic pub music gigs, as many of these songs were lesser known staples of my live sets. There's also a hint of an album that came out prior to this by Murphy, Paige, and Smith, called "The Wind That Shakes the Barley". I believe that one can hear the beginnings of the idea for Bill Grogan's Goat as well, in the versions of "Cruiscin Lan", and "Come Out Ye Black and Tans" on this release.
